| Control Engineering Department is active in several economic branches: naval systems –defence systems; planning, development of prototypes, serial productions, installation, launching and maintenance. Furthermore, the Department is involved in scientific projects of the Ministry of Science, Education and Sports, the following being most important: - System of electric propulsion on fast ships
- System of managing and directing power plants with failure tolerance
- System of managing and directing automated float laboratory
A number of Department’s employees participate with their papers at foreign and local conferences, where the papers presented are evaluated with high grades. The staff consists of: 1 PhD, 5 MSc - 4 of whom working on PhD theses, 7 graduated engineers and 10 technicians with existing material basis and instruments. All of them present the basis, which allows us to undertake ever more demanding activities, some of which are already underway (Croatian Power Industry HEP, Croatian Highways HAC, Ministry of Defence MORH). |
